Fasting for Healthy Skin & Body

You must be thinking, how are the two related? Fasting and healthy skin right. To put it correctly, healthy skin is a byproduct of fasting. Fasting during Ramadan or any time of the year brings many benefits to the body and skin. Fasting tells your body to slow down, relax and take time to go about performing its usual jobs. This includes digestion, fat loss, getting rid of toxins and much more. So let us delve deeper into the fruits of fasting.
  1. Detoxification – Your mind and body go through detoxification. While you practice restrain by not eating and drinking throughout the day. This gives your body the chance to eat into your fat reserves and also burn away the harmful toxins present in the fat deposits. Giving you a healthy skin and getting rid of unnecessary fat.
  1. Reduced Appetite – The trend these days is to constantly eat as we are exposed to all kinds of cuisines and recipes available on the drop of a hat from youtube or the internet. Fasting during Ramadan gives us a chance to follow a systematic and constant routine every day for a month. The body gets used to this routine and if you maintain it, it stays with you. Your stomach shrinks and you eat less even once Ramadan is over.
  1. Bad Habits Bye Bye – It is said that it takes 21 days to form a habit and Ramadan time is more than that. It is the best time to avoid bad habits like smoking, drinking and eating unhealthy processed food or too much of sugary snacks. This is the perfect time to reflect and get rid of  bad habits that harm the skin and do nothing but damage to the body.
  1. Gives you Glowing Radiant Complexion – While fasting the tissues and cells in the body repair and restore, resulting in production of collagen and leading to healthier and radiant skin.
So, this Ramadan fast with all of your mind and body and change for the better. [/pl_text] [/pl_col] [/pl_row]
