Chemical Peeling

Chemical Peeling

Chemical peels are a widely used method of attaining a healthier looking skin. This method has been used by dermatologists for several decades to rejuvenate the skin, remove minor imperfections, treat acne, and lighten pigmentation and even the skin tone.

Our chemical peeling treatment involves the application of a chemical solution on the surface of the skin. This solution removes the outermost layer of the skin, revealing glowing and more even complexion. The depth of peeling is determined by the chemical agent used and the mode of application. The deeper the peeling, the longer the downtime.

After the treatment, the new skin is tender and sensitive to sun exposure. Therefore, daily use of sunscreen with SPF (Sun Protection Factor) 30 or above is highly recommended for a minimum of one month after the procedure. Chemical peels are safe and can be performed on almost all parts of the body. They are most commonly applied on the face, neck, chest and hands.

We offer the following chemical peels:

  • AHA / fruit acid / glycolic acid

  • Enopeel

  • Salicylic acid

  • TCA (tricholoroacetic acid) / Easy Peel

  • Cosmelan and Dermamelan
